About WRL
Discussions began in 2020 to form a new youth baseball league that would come to be known as, The Wisconsin River League (WRL). The first season of play for the WRL was 2022. The following communities are part of the WRL: Wisconsin Dells, Sauk Prairie, Reedsburg, Portage, Poynette, Pardeeville, Mauston, Lodi, and Baraboo. Each community provides representatives that are part of the WRL Board of Directors, thus giving each community an equal voice in league decisions. Each community in the league is dedicated to providing kids of all skill levels a place to play baseball.
The mission of the WRL is to provide a positive developmental baseball experience, limit travel, and work together to provide similarly competitive teams/games to the best of their ability. Each community is responsible for their own teams and everything that is involved in doing so, including, but not limited to registration, insurance, coaches, uniforms, equipment, facilities, fields, and funding.
